At Malaka Spice we do things our own way ...
Every preparation on our menu has been hand picked by us among the hundreds that we know through our years in Southeast Asia.
Every recipe has been sourced from the most traditional Southeast Asian homes and cities. But we have not stopped there, after that each recipe has been worked upon, over and over again, till we are convinced that the final product is close to the original but with a delightful creative twist that makes the flavour unique to Malaka Spice!
All ingredients used are grown specially for us on farms around Pune. Basil, Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime, Raw Papaya, Bananas, (even the Honey) used in the cooking come from these farms. All Herbs are grown Organically.
Oyster Sauce, Fish Sauce, Belachen (Dried Shrimp paste), Galangal, Rice Stick Noodles, Mirrin Sauce are all imported from the best sources worldwide.
No Synthetic Vinegar is ever used in any of our cooking. Only fresh lemon. Healthier. Tastier. Yummy!!
At Malaka Spice, Coconut milk used, is always and only, the first extract of fresh coconut. No tins. No cans. No powder. Only pure Taste.
